Kate goes outside with daddy. Oh the simple joys that my babygirl finds in just wandering around the yard following in daddy's footsteps or watching daddy working in his shop offering up any help she can. I went out just the other day to find them pulling vines out of a tree as they walked around the spot of land that has been cleared so far in preparation for building the house. She likes to climb up on the tractor and to watch her is amazing as it is like she knows what the knobs and levers do. But, I think by far my favorite thing to watch them do ( and I know her favorite thing to do) is watering the plants. It is so much fun to just sit on the porch or peek around the corner to watch them doing this without knowledge that I am watching. It is great daddy and daughter time and I love it. Outside, she is his shadow, she goes where he goes and she does (or tries to do) what he does. And when it's time to come in, there is rarely a clean spot on either of them and they are both sent to the bathtub directly - another fun activity for the two of them! :)
oh, and Uncle Scott stopped in with creme puffs which she of course had to have a taste of :)
